I can definitely see how we will be making many, MANY memories there :)
The only real negative is that we realized the lake where our cabin is, isn't the best for swimming. Wading and boating sure. But it's pretty reedy and icky if you get in much past your knees. I don't care though. We live in Michigan. There are lakes EVERYWHERE. (Seriously we swim at a little lake about 3 minutes from our main house.) So it's not a biggie at all. We are already thinking of getting a "party barge" (pontoon) and enjoying the lake that way. The kids will love it!!
We bought our cabin fully furnished and the sellers left a lot of stuff behind! (So much that I have 6 bags of things to take to the donation center!) We found this in the cupboard:
It's a salt/pepper/ketchup/mustard holder. It has an umbrella because it is for a picnic table.
I think it is hilarious.
I did finish Awakened while we were up north. I plan to post my review of it in the next day or so. It'll be worth waiting for. Promise.
